Five components of a running news team 五個讓新聞部運轉的元件

The five components below assemble into a working weekly broadcast. Read in order — roles first, then format, then script, then production, then distribution. Don't optimize for polish; optimize for sustainability.

以下五個元件組裝成一支可運行的週播節目。順序:先角色、再格式、再腳本、再製作、再發布。重點不在精緻,在「能持續做下去」。

What it is · 做法

Six rotating roles let an entire class participate without overcrowding the screen — anchor, on-location reporter, weather, sports, camera operator, and an editor who never appears.

六個輪值角色,全班都能參與、又不會擠在鏡頭前——主播、外景記者、氣象、體育、攝影、後製剪輯(不露臉)。

Rotate roles every two episodes — every student should sit in every chair across a semester. The shy student often becomes the best editor.

What it is · 做法

A consistent 3-minute structure: 30s opener → 50s segment 1 → 50s segment 2 → 50s segment 3 → 20s sign-off. The same shape every week means students don't have to reinvent format.

固定的 3 分鐘結構:30 秒開場 → 50 秒第一段 → 50 秒第二段 → 50 秒第三段 → 20 秒結尾。每週同樣節奏,學生不必每次重新發明格式。

The hardest part isn't reading — it's the smooth transition between segments. Practice transitions twice for every once you practice the segments themselves.

A reusable Word document with [BLANK] fields for the week's content. Anchors only need to fill in the story names, dates, and names — the connecting language is already there.

What it is · 做法

Use a tripod-mounted phone, free editing apps (CapCut, iMovie), and built-in caption tools. Don't aim for broadcast quality — aim for student-watchable quality.

用三腳架架手機、免費剪輯 App(CapCut、iMovie)、內建字幕工具。不必追求廣播品質,達到「學生愛看」的程度就好。

Always add Chinese captions — non-fluent students watch the captions to catch up. Bilingual captioning doubles the educational value of every episode.

三個頻道,全校都看得到

Three channels: (a) Monday morning playback at assembly, (b) classroom TV during homeroom that week, (c) school YouTube channel for parents and alumni. Same content, three audiences.

三個發布管道:(a) 週一升旗播放,(b) 該週早自修教室電視播放,(c) 學校 YouTube 頻道給家長與校友。同樣的內容,三種觀眾。
