A campus tour led by students is one of the highest-confidence English-speaking moments of the year. Foreign visitors, parents, and sister-school delegates often visit Taiwanese schools — turn that visit into a vocabulary-rich student stage instead of a teacher monologue.

學生帶隊導覽校園，是全年最能讓學生展現英文自信的場合之一。外國訪客、家長、姊妹校代表常造訪台灣學校——把這個場合留給學生當主角，比老師獨白更能累積詞彙。

Each station below comes with a bilingual script, key vocabulary, and a tip from real Changhua campuses. Pair students up, hand them the cards, and rehearse twice in English class before the visit.

Activity 01

The Front Gate · 校門口

What it is · 做法

Two student guides welcome visitors at the gate, ask their country of origin, and walk them through what they'll see in the next 15 minutes.

兩位學生導覽員在校門口迎接訪客，請對方介紹自己的國家，並告訴對方接下來 15 分鐘會看到的內容。

Pair shy and confident students together. Print the script on a small card the guides can hold — visitors expect this and it lowers anxiety.

用英文介紹百年校史

A short introduction of the principal, the founding year, the student count (rounded), and one award or distinction the school is proud of.

簡介校長、創校年（不寫死數字，用「百年以上」「超過五十年」等表達）、學生人數（取整數），與學校最自豪的一項榮譽。

Encourage 'around' / 'about' instead of exact numbers — easier to remember and more natural English. Update once a year, not constantly.

Brief tour of a typical classroom — seating, smart screen, schedule on the wall, student artwork. Ideally enter a class during a non-test period so visitors see real teaching.

簡介一般教室——座位安排、智慧螢幕、牆上課表、學生作品。最好挑非考試時段，讓訪客看見真正在上的課。

Visitors are almost always curious about Taiwan's school lunch system. Show the kitchen window, today's menu, and the recycling station.

訪客對台灣的營養午餐制度幾乎都好奇。帶他們看廚房窗口、今日菜單、與餐後分類回收站。

Guide A: This is our cafeteria. We eat lunch in our classroom, but the food is prepared here.
Guide B: Today's lunch is rice, fish, vegetables, and miso soup.

The Playground · 操場

End the tour at the playground — running track, basketball court, weekly assembly area. Open question time here under the trees.
