Dacheng doesn't have a 1-to-1 English class ratio. What we have is a resident foreign teacher, a UN Association partnership, a brand-new Monday English & SDGs class launching in March 2026, and two MCC video libraries shared across all 89 partner schools. Every one of these moments is designed for one thing: to give a rural child the courage to open their mouth. 大城靠的不是規模，而是每一個被精心設計的瞬間：外師駐校、聯合國協會合作、Edward Huang 老師的英語與 SDGs 課程、兩條跨校共用的人師影片教材庫——目的只有一個：讓偏鄉孩子敢開口。

From March 2026, Mr. Edward Huang will visit Dacheng every Monday at noon to teach a weekly English & SDGs class — pairing real-world sustainability conversations with the everyday English a 10-year-old can actually use. The class is matched and supported by My Culture Connect 人師教育協會. 2026 年 3 月起，Edward Huang 老師每週一中午到大城國小，為孩子們開設「英語 × SDGs」課程。把聯合國永續發展目標的真實議題，轉成 10 歲孩子也能說的英文。本課程由人師教育協會媒合與支持。

The pairing builds directly on Dacheng's existing W.H.E.A.T. framework: disaster prevention, food education, sustainability — same backbone, with a fresh international voice on Mondays. 這門課直接接在大城既有的 W.H.E.A.T. 框架上：防災、食農、永續——主軸一致，只是週一中午多了一個國際的聲音。

UN Association Visits Dacheng
聯合國協會橙縣分會 SDGs 教學交流
Representatives from the UN Association, Orange County Chapter visited Dacheng for a full SDGs teaching day. Students opened with a clay-drum performance, then ran English-language interactive discussions on sustainability with the visiting delegation.
聯合國協會橙縣分會（UN Association, Orange County Chapter）代表到校進行永續發展目標（SDGs）教學。學生以陶鼓表演開場，並以英文與訪賓進行 SDGs 互動討論——把「越在地，越國際」的辦學標語直接搬到現場。
